Who is Purple Peace?
Purple Peace Foundation is the Legacy of Amanda Brady. Amanda was 13 years old when she passed away from probable SUDEP (Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy). She had lived with seizures since she was an infant. In the coming weeks after Amanda's death, the Brady family organized and formed Purple Peace Foundation. The lack of knowledge regarding epilepsy throughout the community became apparent. It is the mission of Purple Peace Foundation to raise awareness about epilepsy.
As the Foundation grew, the Brady's connected with many families living with epilepsy. The mission of Purple Peace Foundation grew to include support and connection with the epilepsy community, locally and globally.
In 2022, Purple Peace Foundation opened the Connection Center. The Center serves as headquarters for the Foundation and hosts activities and networking opportunities throughout the year.
